Sebastian Giovinco’s agent preferred not to comment on rumours suggesting the player might be leaving Juventus.
After a difficult start to the season at Juventus, following his return from a loan stint at Empoli, Sebastian Giovinco has recently turned on the style on a more regular basis for Claudio Ranieri’s side. Injuries and suspensions have allowed the 22-year-old to gradually get more playing time and strut his stuff in the process.
Nevertheless, rumours of him leaving Turin to be guaranteed a first team place have not subsided. Asked about the player’s future, his agent Claudio Pasqualin did not want to exclude a priori that it will be elsewhere.
“Will he stay at Juventus? I’d prefer not to answer that,” he said to Violanews.com. “Giovinco is a Juventus player and we should consider him as such.”
One of the rumours was that the player would be joining Fiorentina in a co-ownership deal. This was categorically denied by Pasqualin.
“The supposed negotiations between Juventus are Fiorentina are purely invented, there’s no truth in that whatsoever,” he revealed.
The agent’s words certainly haven’t made things clearer for fans of the player, although it now seems obvious there is no chance he will go to the Viola.
